Our Privacy Policy

Saadho Scale (“Saadho”, “we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, merchant portal, waitlist/trial forms, and any services that link to this Policy (together, the “Services”).

Note: This Policy is designed to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) (“DPDP Act”), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (“IT Rules”). Where applicable, we also provide additional notices for the GDPR (EU/UK) and CCPA/CPRA (California, USA).

Information we collect

We collect information in these categories:

  1. Identity & contact — name, email, phone/WhatsApp, company/brand, job role.

  2. Business & account — store/website URLs, platform (e.g., Shopify/Woo), plan, order volumes, category, billing identifiers.

  3. Operational data (when you connect tools) — order, shipping and returns metadata; courier serviceability; addresses; payment status (from gateways); communications and support tickets.

  4. Marketing & analytics — campaign parameters (UTM), pixel events, device, browser, IP (approximate location), pages viewed, referring URLs, session data, cookie identifiers.

  5. Communications — emails, calls, WhatsApp messages, survey/feedback responses.

  6. Payment & compliance — invoices, transaction IDs, tax/GST details from payment gateways/partners (we do not store full card or UPI credentials).

  7. Careers/Partner data (if you apply or partner with us) — CV/resume, portfolio, background information you choose to provide.

You may choose not to provide certain information, but some features may not work without it.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and operate the Services (store setup, logistics/RTO workflows, analytics dashboards, support).

  • Process requests (waitlist, trial/demo bookings, onboarding).

  • Measure & improve product performance (troubleshooting, analytics, A/B testing).

  • Personalize experiences and content (e.g., recommending actions in your 90-day plan).

  • Communicate with you (transactional notices, trial updates, security alerts, service announcements).

  • Marketing (consent-based) — send product news, case studies, or offers; you can opt out anytime.

  • Safety, security & legal — fraud/RTO risk checks, preventing abuse, enforcing terms, complying with law and taxation.

Lawful basis / Legal ground

  • Under the DPDP Act: your consent (e.g., marketing, optional integrations) and legitimate uses such as performance of a contract you request, security/fraud prevention, and compliance with Indian law.

Cookies & similar technologies

We use cookies, pixels and local storage to: keep you signed in, remember preferences, analyze traffic, and measure campaigns.

Sharing & disclosures

We do not sell personal information. We share it only as needed with:

  • Processors/Service Providers (under contracts): cloud hosting/CDN, analytics, logging, crash reporting, customer support and email tools, payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay/PayU), shipping/logistics aggregators and couriers (e.g., Shiprocket and partners), WhatsApp/communication platforms (e.g., WhatsApp Cloud API, Zoko/Gupshup), ad platforms (Meta/Google) for measurement/attribution.

  • Business transfers: if we reorganize, merge, or sell assets, data may transfer as part of the transaction.

  • Legal: to comply with law, enforce agreements, or protect our rights, users, or the public.

We require processors to use data only per our instructions and to apply reasonable security.

International data transfers

We may process or store information outside India. Cross-border transfers will occur in line with the DPDP Act and any Government of India notifications (including any country-specific restrictions). Where required, we use safeguards such as contractual protections.

Security

We use reasonable security practices (access controls, encryption in transit, network segmentation, audit logs, employee confidentiality obligations). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Data retention

We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law (tax/audit), then delete or de-identify it. Typical retention examples:

  • Account/ops data: for your subscription/engagement plus a short period thereafter.

  • Transaction & billing records: retained per Indian tax and accounting laws.

  • Marketing records: until you opt out or the campaign purpose ends.

  • Logs & analytics: short rolling windows unless needed for security or legal reasons.

Your rights & choices (India)

Subject to applicable law, you may:

  • Access and know what personal data we process about you.

  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

  • Delete/erase data that is no longer necessary or where consent is withdrawn.

  • Withdraw consent (e.g., marketing; certain integrations).

  • Grievance redressal and Nominate an individual to exercise rights on your behalf (as provided in the DPDP Act).

Children’s privacy

Our Services are not intended for minors (generally under 18). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us to remove it.

Links to third parties

Our website may link to third-party sites or apps. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Please review them separately.

WhatsApp & communications

If you provide a mobile number, you authorize us and our service providers to send transactional updates (e.g., order/dispatch/NDR) via SMS/WhatsApp. You can opt out of marketing messages anytime by replying STOP or contacting us.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We’ll post the updated version with a new “Effective date” at the top. Significant changes may be notified by email or on the site.

A) GDPR (EU/UK) residents

  • Controller: Saadho Scale, Surat, Gujarat, India.

  • Legal bases: consent; contract; legitimate interests (product improvement, fraud prevention, analytics); legal obligation.

  • Your rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

  • Transfers: we use appropriate safeguards where required (e.g., contracts).

B) California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

  • No “sale” of personal information as defined by the CPRA. We may share data for cross-context behavioral advertising/analytics—you may opt out by contacting us.

Governing law & jurisdiction

This Policy and any disputes are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Surat, Gujarat shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
